The president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan yesterday queried the
Minister of Aviation Stella Oduah over the N225m armoured cars scandal
involving her and some agencies under her ministry.
According to the Special Adviser to the President on
Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati, President
Goodluck Jonathan has set up a three-man panel to
investigate the N225million armoured car scandal
involving aviation minister, Stella Oduah.
Mr Abati said the panel will be chaired by the
immediate past Head of Service, Sali Bello and will
include the National Security Adviser, Colonel
Sambo Dasuki, and Air Vice Marshal Dik
Iruenebere. The panel is to find out why the cars
were bought and whether the procurement of the
cars followed due process or not. Stella Oduah was
conspicuously absent at today's Federal Executive
Council meeting.
