Gabriela beat 88 other beauty queens from participating countries to
emerge Miss Universe 2013.
Miss Spain became the 1st runner-up, and
Miss Ecuador 2nd runner-up, 3rd and 4th runners-up are Miss
Phillipines and Miss Brazil.
Miss Venezuela takes over from Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo from
the United States.
Over the next 12 months, she will travel the
world, representing the Miss Universe
Organisation and a charity.
